This album features songs by residents of Spondon and visitors to the weekly folk night, every Tuesday at the Vernon Arms, Spondon. Some tracks were written especially for the project, others adapted from other well-known songs.

All tracks recorded especially for this CD in May 2013 by Ben Haynes (Haynes Music Productions), except 07 which was recorded live in the 70s, and 12 which was recorded in Nottingham recently.

An updated version of track 2 can be found on Kezia Gill's superb new album Kezia.

The concept for this album came from Derek Hathaway from Spondon Village Improvement Committee.
